I did South Grade twice from Pauma Valley last night on thefull moon. What an awesome time. From where you are at Henshaw, make the trip to Montezuma Grade as part of your night ride
ReplyDeleteHey George,
ReplyDeleteThis is Matt, the guy from SDBC you did some climbing with Saturday. Question for you.....I noticed you were training on some Kenda tires that looked pretty beefy, and I was wondering what model they were, and how puncture resistant they are? Have fun out there!
Thanks,
Matt
Matt,
ReplyDeleteI am sponsored by Kenda Tires. The model I use is Kenda C2C. It was a tire designed for Tinker Juarez when he was preparing/racing Race Across America. They are incredibly puncture resistant. I rarely flat on them and usually run them down until they are so thin that I need to replace them for that reason only. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM.
On another note, send me your email so I can send you the pictures we took of the four of us at Lake Henshaw.
