You must be feeling better, yes? If you signed up for super race. ;-) Hey, George, I'm going back into hard-ass mode next year, well for me, for you, it would be more like lazy-ass mode, but baby steps, right? Seriously, I'm thinking of riding doubles again. I just have to find which ones. On another note, I hope your hand is healing! Oh, and tell Brandy to blog, already!
George, good luck on trans-iowa. It's kicked a number of asses over the years. I've got at least 1 or 2 friends riding it this year. You might also check out http://www.cyclingupdate.blogspot.com/ for a little side challenge we put on here in the heartland that will help you prep for the ride. Shoot me an email (buckshot77@msn.com) if you guys have any logistic or other questions that I might be able to give you a hand with as I live in central Iowa.
M.E. Yes I'm feeling better. I also have to think about next season. I can't sit around moping. So I have filled the race calendar with all the painful things I can think of.
Great to hear you are coming back to the doubles circuit. As you know you won't see me at too many SoCal doubles. LOL!
Buckshot77. Thank you for reaching out. I feel so disconnected from this event. I am a meticulous planner. I pre-ride a lot of course so I know what to expect. Living in SoCal that is going to be difficult for TI. I appreciate your offer and I will definitely lean on you as the event draws near. Thank you for reading my blog.
Subscribe or watch it I do some pretty cool things starting January while the rest of the country is frozen over. LOL!
Don't worry about me not watching the blog, I scroll through my list pretty much daily. Oh, and about January, we're riding gravel centuries in January around here... You can check some of my adventures at www.buckshotsblog.blogspot.com though I don't have any of the ultra experience you do.
